A woman was arrested in Saint-André-d’Argenteuil on Tuesday March 3 in connection with police seizing a variety of drugs.
Sûreté du Québec officers conducted two searches and made one arrest in a drug-related operation in Saint-André-d’Argenteuil. A search warrant was executed at a residence and a vehicle on Route du Long-Sault (Route 344).
A 40-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and later released. She will appear in court at a later date in Saint-Jérôme, where she could face charges related to narcotics, illegal cannabis, and firearms.
During this operation, police seized:
• More than 15 grams of psilocybin (mushrooms).
• More than 79 methamphetamine tablets.
• Over 1,100 prescription pills.
• Over 30 grams of edible cannabis.
• Over $1,000 in Canadian currency.
• 1 prohibited weapon
This operation stems from an investigation launched following information received from the public.
