The world-renowned Louvre museum in Paris has been in the news recently following the brazen theft of jewels from the days of Napoleon. However, there is another story at the famous French museum with a local connection.

Work by Alfred-area artist Nathalie Frenière was recently on display in the Carrousel de Louvre, a gallery within the Louvre complex.

Frenière, whose work has also been displayed at The Review office in Vankleek Hill, paints semi-abstract landscapes inspired by the sky.
