One individual has been arrested in connection with intimate partner violence in Clarence-Rockland.
On March 14, at approximately 12:41a.m., Russell County OPP officers were called to a residence. During the investigation, officers formed grounds to lay numerous charges and arrested an individual without incident.
As a result, a 29-year-old, from City of Clarence-Rockland, Ontario, was charged under the Criminal Code (CC) with:
- Assault CC266
- Mischief CC430(4)
- Uttering Threats – Cause Death or Bodily Harm CC264.1(1)(a)
- Uttering Threats – Damage CC264.1(1)(b)
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal at a later date.
