Interlude is in the midst of its 2026 annual fundraising campaign, a vital effort aimed at raising $150,000 to support services for women and children who are victims of violence in Prescott and Russell counties, as well as Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry.
This campaign will help fund the many free, confidential, and accessible services provided by Interlude, including the 24/7 helpline, emergency shelter, one-on-one counseling, child-focused interventions, prevention programs, and support services that help women regain safety, independence, and hope.
“This annual campaign represents a unique opportunity for our community to come together throughout the year to support the women and children who need our services. Every contribution, whether large or small, enables us to continue our mission and provide essential, compassionate, and safe support to the people we serve. Together, we have the power to bring about real change and build a community where every woman can envision a future free from violence,” said Muriel Lalonde, Executive Director of Interlude.
Over the coming months, a number of activities and initiatives will give residents, businesses, and partners the opportunity to make a tangible contribution to Interlude’s mission.
The next event as part of the campaign will be a country music benefit concerton September 26, featuring Andrew Charlebois. This evening will bring the community together in a festive atmosphere.
The campaign will continue with the Interlude Benefit Evening, taking place on November 26. Hosted by Renee Wilkin, this event will bring together partners, businesses, and community members around a common cause: supporting women and children who are victims of violence. This evening will be an opportunity to highlight the community’s commitment and make a tangible contribution to maintaining the essential services provided by Interlude.
The public is also invited to participate in the annual raffle, for which tickets are now on sale. Thanks to the generosity of valued partners, participants will have the chance to win a $3,000 travel credit as well as a two-night stay at the Grand Lodge Tremblant.
At the same time, Interlude invites local businesses to join the campaign by becoming partners. Their commitment plays an essential role in furthering the organization’s mission and directly contributes to providing tailored services to women and children experiencing violence.
