A Cornwall man is dead following a collision between a motorcycle and passenger vehicle in North Glengarry.
On Saturday, August 29, 2026, just after 3:30 p.m., Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to reports of a collision on County Road 43 near County Road 30. Initial investigation indicates that a passenger vehicle turned left in front of an oncoming motorcycle.
The rider of the motorcycle, A 77-year-old male from Cornwall, was transported to hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. The driver of the passenger vehicle sustained minor injuries.
County Road 43 was closed in both directions between County Road 30 and Dornie Road for several hours.
The investigation remains ongoing with support from the OPP East Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team.
