North Glengarry Council has endorsed the Township’s Asset Management Plan, which fulfills provincial requirements and helps position North Glengarry for future infrastructure funding opportunities.

The Plan provides a long-term assessment of the Township’s infrastructure, including roads, bridges, water and wastewater systems, facilities, equipment, and other municipal assets. It serves as a foundational planning tool that identifies future infrastructure needs, risks, and investment priorities.

Importantly, the Asset Management Plan is an informational document. While it identifies long-term infrastructure needs, it does not commit Council to future spending or budget decisions. Annual budgets will continue to be considered by Council based on community priorities, affordability, service levels, and available funding opportunities.

By adopting this Plan, the Township is strengthening its long-term planning, supporting responsible asset management, and preparing for future infrastructure investment opportunities.
