After this endless winter, we cannot wait to catch the first sunny and warm days and celebrate. Why not meet our neighbours at the same time? The first edition of La fête des voisins, organized by the city of Brownsburg-Chatham, is a good way to do it. On Saturday June 6, come spend the afternoon at the corners of Rue Principale and Rue des Érables. There will be plenty of food, music and activities. Cotton candy, pop corn and Bistro La Shop à Mémère, at the arena will be available. Le Cercle de Fermières de Saint‑Philippe will have a craft stall and starting at 1pm, and the Maison des jeunes de Brownsburg‑Chatham will provide entertainment. From 1:30pm to 2:15pm, a percussion workshop will be offered, bring your djembé or cajón! Some can be borrowed too if necessary. From 2:15pm to 2:45pm an acoustic performance by the band Naked Soul will take place and to finish, from 3 to 5pm, the band Soul Station will be on stage. Bring your chairs, your drinks and snacks and don’t forget to invite your neighbours!
