The Centre d’Action de Sainte-Anne-de Prescott community centre has requested financial support for upgrades to the facility. In past years, members of the centre’s committee personally invested in renovations and improvements, giving their time and expertise, but some essential, major projects now exceed financial possibilities.
The priority projects are:
- Interior painting to renovate reception and activity areas.
- Purchase of new tables and suitable furniture
- Replacement of light fixtures with energy-efficient lighting systems, which will significantly reduce our electricity consumption.
- Modernization of the heating system.
- Specialized machine for washing commercial floors.
The estimated total cost of the projects is $500,000.
