After two weekends, seven concerts, and 119 solo and ensemble performers, the Vankleek Hill Music Festival concluded on Sunday, May 3.
From Friday, May 1 until Sunday, 56 solo and ensemble performers were featured at four concerts held at Knox Presbyterian Church in Vankleek Hill. Every performer at the Vankleek Hill Music Festival is the student of local music teachers, Christos Bereris of L’Orignal, Linda Crawford of Vankleek Hill, Rosemary Harden of Vankleek Hill, ian hepburn of Vankleek Hill, Alice Rodger of Vankleek Hill, Kayla Séguin-Whittall of Vankleek Hill, and Pierre Shields of Vankleek Hill.
The festival has also included performances by choirs and clubs from Pleasant Corners Public School, Vankleek Hill Collegiate Institute, and the MacLeod Fiddlers.
The Vankleek Hill Music Festival is a registered charity which also hosts the annual Music and Arts Summer Camp along with providing bursaries for music students and maintains a grand piano.
