Residents across Champlain, East Hawkesbury, North Glengarry, and the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry (SDG), among others, are getting a closer look at how public funds are spent, following the annual release of Ontario’s Sunshine List. The list names public sector employees who earned more than $100,000 in 2025, including staff from the municipalities and local school boards.

This year’s disclosure includes a range of positions across the region, from municipal leadership to education professionals, offering a snapshot of compensation within publicly funded organizations.

The Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB) had 1,433 individuals listed on the Sunshine List. The majority of UCDSB employees on the list earned a wage of approximately $117,500, with earnings ranging between $100,000 and $309,085.

For the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario (CDSBEO), 769 individuals are listed on the Sunshine List, with wages ranging between $100,000 and $199,231. The majority of CDSBEO employees on the Sunshine List earned a wage of approximately $117,500.

The Conseil des Écoles Publiques de l’Est de l’Ontario (CEPEO) had 1,093 individuals on the Sunshine list, with wages ranging between $100,000 and $332,355. The majority of CEPEO employees on the list earned a wage of approximately $130,000 in 2025.

Employees on the Sunshine List working at the Conseil Scholaire de District Catholique de l’Est Ontarien (CSDCEO) earned wages between $100,000 and $343,926. Of the 724 earners on the list, the majority earned approximately $130,000.
