The Glengarry ENCORE Photo Club will host its second annual Photo Art Exhibition from May 1 to May 3, 2026, at the Sandfield Centre in Alexandria.
Following the success of last year’s event, the exhibition will showcase contemporary photography in many forms, from straight photography to highly manipulated works covering themes such as street, nature, landscape, abstract, and conceptual photography.
Featuring work from more than 20 photo artists, this year’s exhibition will include three main components: an Art Fair section, where photographers will present curated collections of their work; a Group Show highlighting individual pieces; and a moderated panel discussion with guest artists and art experts. The panel will explore topics such as artistic practice, collecting, and the evolving role of photography in contemporary art.
Whether you’re a collector, educator, artist, or simply curious about photography, Photo Art 2026 offers a rich and engaging experience for anyone interested in contemporary art.
Made possible through the support of the Township of North Glengarry, Photo Art 2026 will take place at the Sandfield Centre, 102 Derby St. W., Alexandria.
The public is invited to attend the vernissage on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m. The exhibition will also be open on Saturday, May 2, and Sunday, May 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
