A new fundraising initiative launched in late March aims to direct consumer support toward local autism programming in Prescott-Russell. From March 28 to April 30, 2026, online retailer Ability Hive is running a campaign to benefit Regroupement Autisme Prescott-Russell (RAPR), a registered charity providing programs and community support for individuals with autism spectrum disorder in the region.

Ability Hive, a family-run business based in Embrun, is inviting shoppers to use “Shop & Support” links when purchasing sensory and therapeutic tools on its website. Purchases made through these links during the campaign will automatically apply a fundraising code, directing a percentage of sales to support RAPR’s programs.

RAPR offers social and recreational programming, respite services, and skill-building activities for individuals with autism and their families. Memberships and donations help fund these year-round offerings, which focus on community integration.
