KMAC Electric, a trusted family-owned business in Alexandria, Ontario, is making a meaningful impact on local health care. Owners Kirk MacMillan and Ryan MacMillan recently contributed $1,000 to the Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital (HGMH) Foundation’s CT Scanner Campaign, marking the first year of a five-year pledge totaling $5,000 through the Foundation’s Business Steps Up initiative.

The CT Scanner Fundraising Campaign at HGMH aims to bring advanced diagnostic imaging technology to Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry and surrounding areas, enhancing patient care and reducing the need for residents to travel outside the region for scans. Contributions from local family-owned businesses like KMAC Electric are helping ensure patients have access to fast, accurate diagnoses and modern medical care.

HGMH Foundation encourages other businesses to join Business Steps Up and become community partners, helping strengthen local health care for families today and into the future.

Business Steps Up is an initiative that invites local businesses leaders in the Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry region to become community leaders through multi-year commitments supporting critical health care priorities. By stepping up together, participating businesses help ensure essential diagnostic and medical services, including CT scans and other advanced imaging technology, remain available close to home for families across the region.
