A woman is facing a series of drug-related charges after being arrested by police in Saint-André-d’Argenteuil.
On February 6, MRC d’Argenteuil Sûreté du Québec officers stopped a vehicle on Route des Seigneurs/Route 327 in Saint-André-d’Argenteuil to assess the driver’s ability to drive. After conducting checks, the officers arrested the driver for impaired driving due to drugs and had the vehicle towed.
During a search of the vehicle, officers seized:
Approximately 40 methamphetamine pills
Just under 10 grams of magic mushrooms
A few grams of cannabis
Contraband tobacco
The driver, a 40-year-old woman from the area, was arrested at the scene and is expected to appear in court at a later date in connection with drug possession and impaired driving.
