Valentine’s Day has a way of bringing back memories — old photos, shared milestones, and the little moments that turn into years together. Each year, The Review invites couples from across the community to take part in our Then and Now Valentine’s Day Photo Contest, and entries are now open for 2026.
The idea is simple. We’re looking for two photos: one from earlier in your relationship and one from more recent years. Together, they tell the story of how love changes, grows, and sticks around.
How to Enter
To enter the contest, couples are asked to submit their photos online along with their names, the years the photos were taken, and how long they’ve been together. Entries can be submitted through The Review’s contest page at thereview.ca/contest.
The deadline to enter is Wednesday, February 4, 2026.
Prize Details
All entries will be included in a random draw for a $150 gift certificate from Le Vieux Chateau, making it a great way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with a night out. The prize must be claimed within 30 days of the winner being announced.
When Entries Will Appear
Submitted photos will be published in the February 11, 2026 issue of The Review. The winner of the draw will also be announced in that issue.
A Valentine’s Tradition
One of the things readers enjoy most about this contest is seeing familiar faces and shared memories in print. From decades-old wedding photos to snapshots from more recent years, every entry adds something special to the Valentine’s Day issue.
Couples are encouraged to enter early and share their story before the February 4 deadline. It’s a simple way to celebrate your relationship and be part of a Valentine’s tradition our readers look forward to each year.
