To open the new year, Arbor Gallery presents This is Me, a unique collective exhibition exploring identity, creativity, and personal expression. Earlier this fall, artists from the community were invited to submit a work that reflects who they are — not necessarily a traditional self-portrait, but a piece that reveals their essence, their vision, or their inner world.

“We are pleased to be able to present artwork by local and regional artists who responded with works that speak to what inspires them, moves them, or defines them”, states Sylvie Bouchard, of the gallery board. “Each piece offers a glimpse into an individual creative journey: a style, a moment, an idea, or a feeling that says ‘This is me.’ Together, these contributions form a vibrant collective portrait of our artistic community — a celebration of imagination, individuality, and the many ways the creative spirit shines through.”

The exhibition’s participating artists include the following local and out-of-town artists: Lisa Szabo-Jones, Albert Roy, Alison Collard, Brian Beavis, Doreen Dyet, France Poliquin, Hélène Desjardins, Jason de Graaf, Jeannine Bastien, Jessica Sarrazin, Joey Miner, Lise Piché, Marion Hodge, Merle Halpenny-Roy, Natasha Martel, Renée Périgny, Susan Jephcott, Sylvie Bouchard, Valerie Cole, Reenie Marx.

Vernissage: Saturday, January 17 from 1pm to 3pm. The exhibition lasts until February 22, 2026.  Arbor Gallery is open from Thursday to Sunday, noon to 4pm. Admission is free.
