The United Counties of Prescott and Russell (UCPR) tradition of the Warden raising funds for community organizations continued in 2025.
At the Inaugural meeting on December 17 in L’Orignal, 2025 Warden Yves Laviolette presented $46,000 from the Warden’s Fund to 11 community organizations. These donations were made possible through funds raised at events during the year, including the Warden’s Golf Tournament and the Warden’s Banquet. Since 2018, more than $241,000 has been raised for various organizations across the UCPR.
The following are the beneficiary organizations of the 2025 Warden’s Fund:

- Prescott-Russell Residence Foundation – $6,500
- Club d’Âge d’Or de Plantagenet – $4,000
- Club de l’Aigle d’or de Wendover – $4,000
- Club Entre Amis de Lefaivre – $4,000
- Lefaivre Lions Club – $4,000
- Le Bel Âge de Treadwell – $4,000
- Paroisse Saint-Victor – $4,000
- Chevaliers de Colomb de Wendover – Conseil 9423 – $3,000
- Alfred Optimist Club – $3,000
- Ligue de balle de Plantagenet – $3,000
