Friday, December 12 was a busy day on the stage in the Cafetorium at Vankleek Hill Collegiate Institute (VCI).
Students from the VCI Drama and Music Club, led by teachers Sarah Dagg and Ashley MacLeod-McRae, performed “A Dickens Christmas Carol” by Gary Peterson that morning for students, staff, and parents.
Grade 12 student, James Labelle-Lalonde did an incredible job taking on the challenging role of Ebenezer Scrooge including a very memorable “giddy as a schoolboy” dance which brought lots of laughs from the audience.
The Drama students also coordinated a food drive and collected 678 non-perishable items which they donated to the Vankleek Hill Food Bank.
