The shops and streets of Alexandria were full of Christmas shoppers during the evening of Thursday, November 27. The Baby, Please Come Home event was held with participating businesses and community organizations as a way of encouraging area residents to shop close to home. Busy places on Thursday evening included The Glengarry Market, with its own locally made products, and additional artisans and vendors, and the Sunshiners Social Club where several vendors and organizations were set up.
