Grenville firefighters were assisted by crews from Hawkesbury and Grenville-sur-la-Rouge at a small fire at a house on rue Raymond in Grenville on Saturday, November 29.
The incident began shortly after 4 pm. Firefighters were seen entering the house through the front door. There was initially some smoke, but it disappeared and portable ventilation equipment was set up.
The house where the minor fire occurred on Saturday is beside a house that was destroyed by a fire during the previous summer. That site remains fenced off for eventual demolition.
