Shortly before 6:30 pm on Tuesday, November 18, there was a collision on Highway 34 south of Deslauriers Street near Hawkesbury. A car and a sport utility vehicle collided. One vehicle was in the ditch on each side of the road and there was debris spread across the pavement.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers arrived at the scene and paramedics immediately after. According to the OPP, no injuries were reported. However, a 35-year-old man from L’Orignal was charged with careless driving.
