Vankleek Hill was full of early Christmas cheer on Saturday, November 8 during the 2025 Christmas Home Tour. Six historic homes were exquisitely decorated for the season and open for visitors to tour. Vendors of various local specialty products were at each location on the tour offering their items for sampling and sale. During the day on Saturday, luncheons were held at three local churches for visitors. The home tour was a success with about 800 tickets purchased. By Thursday, November 6, the event had sold out.

The Vankleek Hill Christmas Home Tour was presented by Louise Sproule and Amelou Holdings Inc.  The Review and five other local businesses were among the sponsors of the event. The Review office on Main Street in Vankleek Hill served as Home Tour Headquarters where visitors began the tour and had the option of boarding a shuttle bus to each home.

In addition to being a great opportunity for visitors and residents to discover Vankleek Hill’s attractive heritage homes, unique local businesses, and welcoming hospitality, the Christmas Home Tour is a fundraiser for organizations that are part of what makes Vankleek Hill’s sense of community so strong. Organizations provide volunteers to the event and in return receive a minimum $1,000 donation from the proceeds of the Home Tour. The organizations receiving donations from the 2025 Vankleek Hill Christmas Home Tour are Arbor Gallery, Arks Harvest, Vankleek Hill Meals on Wheels, the Vankleek Hill and District Horticultural Society, the Vankleek Hill and District Nature Society, and the Vankleek Hill and District Historical Society.
