The Foire de Noël Saveurs et Culture d’Argenteuil Christmas Fair is returning for a 17th time from November 28 to 30 in Lachute. Presented by the Municipalité regional de comté (MRC) d’Argenteuil, the event showcases the talent and expertise of Argenteuil’s artists, artisans, producers, and food processors.

Whether you are looking for the perfect gift, a treat to share, or a special something to keep for yourself, the Christmas Fair is the ideal opportunity to support local businesses while discovering unique and authentic creations. It takes place at École Polyvalente Lavigne and Laurentian Regional High School in Lachute. The event will be open on Friday, November 28, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, November 29, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, November 30, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A record 64 exhibitors from Argenteuil will participate in this year’s event. Visitors will discover a wide range of products from the agri-food sector, visual arts, natural products/personal care, textile arts, literature, and fine crafts.

Among the artists, artisans, and businesses present, several will be participating in the event for the first time, including:

• Bella Vibes – herbal teas, body oils, Bach flowers, and crystal jewelry (Lachute);

• Carl De La Barre – children’s books, songs, and related products (Lachute);

• Stacey Godin Drawings – stickers, Christmas cards, coloring books, and notebooks based on original drawings (Lachute);

• Titley Farm – decorative and utilitarian wooden objects (Lachute);

Hélène Paradis – crocheted clothing and accessories (Lachute);

• Johanne Myre – crocheted quilts, blankets, weaving, and accessories (Gore);

• Kay’s Sweet Shop – cupcakes, cookies, and macarons (Brownsburg-Chatham);

• The Gore Trails – novels, biography, and documentaries related to the work of author Margaret Cook (Gore);

• Michèle Bourgon – book “Lachute: A Land of Memories”;

• MSP Paracorde – survival bracelets and keychains (Lachute);

• Nature Lylu and John – bath salts, essential oils, body mists, etc. (Lachute);

• Forest Pottery – decorative and utilitarian ceramic objects (Mille-Isles);

As in previous years, admission to the Foire de Noël Saveurs et Culture d’Argenteuil Christmas Fair will be free. Several exhibitors will offer credit card payments, but it is still recommended to bring cash.

On Friday evening, between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., the Hémiole Vocal Ensemble will enhance the atmosphere with its harmonies.

Coup d’Chœur Productions will offer a vocal performance on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Bistro Harmonie Gourmande and Traiteur Cousineau will be on site with a selection of snacks and delicious meals (sandwiches, salads, and soups).
