On Sunday, November 2, 2025, residents in the municipalities of Gore, Wentworth, and Mille-Isles voted in the Québec municipal elections, electing Alain Giroux as Gore’s mayor, re-electing incumbents Jason Morrison as mayor of Wentworth, and re-electing Howard Sauvé as mayor of Mille-Isles.
Several seats were contested in Gore and Wentworth.
Gore
Residents in Gore elected a new mayor in a three-way race as incumbent Scott Pearce did not seek re-election.
Alain Giroux (Équipe Alain Giroux) won the mayor’s position with 45.66 per cent of the vote, or 458 ballots. Équipe Synergie’s Alexandre Larche received 370 votes, while Équipe Kelley Team’s Ron Kelley received 175.
Équipe Alain Giroux’s Robert Emblem won the Position 1 seat with 450 votes, beating Louis Martin (Équipe Synergie) with 369 votes, and Alexandra Plouffe (Équipe Kelley Team) with 182.
Daniel Leduc (Équipe Alain Giroux) won the Position 2 seat with 460 votes, while Julie Lapointe (Équipe Synergie) received 388 votes, and Debbie Lalumiere (Équipe Kelley Team) received 153.
Équipe Alain Giroux’s Sakina Khan won the Position 3 seat, receiving 479 votes over Isabelle Rheault (Équipe Synergie), who received 365, and Guylaine David (Équipe Kelley Team) with 160 votes.
The Position 4 seat was won by incumbent Shirley Roy (Équipe Alain Giroux), receiving 462 votes. Cindy Bilodeau (Équipe Synergie) received 375 votes while Wendy Smith (Équipe Kelley Team) received 164.
Incumbent Anik Korosec (Équipe Alain Giroux) held his seat with 487 votes, with Étienne Rondeau-Garon (Équipe Synergie) receiving 373 votes, and Lucie Bellemare (Équipe Kelley Team) receiving 138.
Incumbent Anselmo Marandola (Équipe Alain Giroux) won with 458 votes, with Kloée Chenel-Fournier (Équipe Synergie) receiving 373 votes, and Nancy Bélanger (Équipe Kelley Team) receiving 172.
Wentworth
Incumbent mayor Jason Morrison (Equipe Morrison Team) took 73.10 per cent of the vote, receiving 318 votes and defeating independent challenger Jay Brothers, who received 117 votes.
Candidates from Equipe Morrison Team, including incumbent Philippe Cyr (Position 1), Catherine Spaulding (Position 2), Alex Sandahl (Position 4), Robert Houle (Position 5), and incumbent Paul Sauvé (Position 6) were re-elected by acclamation.
The Position 3 seat had incumbent Allan Page (Equipe Morrison Team) defeating independent Danny LeClerc by a vote of 330 to 101.
Mille-Isles
All council candidates, including incumbent Mayor Howard Sauvé, were re-elected through acclamation.
