On Sunday, November 2, 2025, Stephen Matthews was re-elected for a second term as Mayor of Saint-André-d’Argenteuil, defeating challenger Marc-Olivier Labelle by 461 votes.
Matthews secured 64.86 per cent of the vote, or 1,006 ballots, while Labelle received 545 votes in the mayoral rematch. Labelle lost to Matthews in November 2021.
Pierre-Luc Lavallée (District 1), Karène Guertin (District 4), and incumbent Audrey Paquette-Poulin (District 5) were acclaimed without opposition.
Kassandra Bouchard won District 2 with 147 votes, defeating Jesse Racicot, who received 102 votes.
In District 3, Pascale Bellemare unseated incumbent Jacques Decoeur, winning 187 votes to Decoeur’s 89—a 67.75 per cent share of the vote.
Incumbent Pierre Fournier retained his seat in District 5, defeating Michel Laurent 172 to 77.
