In Grenville-sur-la-Rouge, incumbent mayor Tom Arnold has been re-elected, and every seat on council except for one will be held by a member of his Alliance of the Citizens bloc of candidates.
On Sunday, November 2, Arnold was elected to a third term, winning with 503 votes, which were 130 more than the 373 votes cast for challenger Margaret Brunton.
In the Seat 5 council race, incumbent Patrice Deslongchamps won with 467 votes over Karl Gibeault who received 364, or 103 fewer votes.
Daniel Gauthier is the winner of the Seat 6 council race. Incumbent Councillor Isabelle Brisson of the Alliance of the Citizens chose not to seek re-election. The independent Gauthier received 501 votes while Alliance of the Citizens candidate Guy Jobin received 337 votes, a difference of 164 votes between the two candidates.
Incumbents Manon Jutras in Seat 1, Carl Woodbury in Seat 2, Natalia Czarnecka in Seat 3, and Denis Fillion in Seat 4 were all acclaimed to another term as councillors in Grenville-sur-la-Rouge.
