It’s going to be scary kids! Friday night will be full of monster chiller horror fun with Halloween activities happening in communities across the region.
In L’Orignal, the always popular Haunted Jail is back from 4 pm to 8 pm at the L’Orignal Old Jail, located at 1023 Queen Street. Admission is free.
A less frightful time will be in downtown Hawkesbury at Halloween on the Main. Trick or treaters can freely walk around to various businesses that will be open, and to displays set up from other businesses and organizations. Other special activities are also planned.
Main Street will be closed between McGill Street and William Street for Halloween on the Main.
The Club Optimiste de Wendover will be at the Lucien Delorme Community Centre in the village, handing out bags of candy beginning at 5:30 pm.
In North Glengarry, Halloween festivities are taking place at the Dunvegan Recreation Association Hall. Snacks, games, and activities for all ages begin at 6:30 pm.
In Apple Hill, a Halloween Trick or Treat event is taking place at the Apple Hill Community Centre from 5:30 pm to 7 pm.
A house on a hill in Brownsburg will be super scary again this Halloween. Now in its 37th year, Steve O’Brien’s Haunted House will be open at 273 Rue de l’Eglise. Admission is charged.
