Federal agriculture minister visits Vankleek Hill distillery

Grains and other agricultural products are the main ingredients in whisky and other liquors, and federal Minister of Agriculture Agri-Food Heath MacDonald visited Vankleek Hill on Friday, October 10 to tour Dunrobin Distilleries.

MacDonald toured the Dunrobin facility with Prescott-Russell-Cumberland Member of Parliament Giovanna Mingarelli. According to a social media post, the tour included a discussion about breaking down economic barriers to better help local products reach new markets across Canada and abroad.
