The Highland Quilters Guild keeps on helping Maxville Manor.

In the spring of 2025, the Guild donated $1,000 to the Maxville Manor redevelopment campaign. The Guild decided at that time to try and raise even more money for the Manor and host a Fall Tea.

This tea is happening Friday, October 17 from 11am to 2pm at the Maxville and District Sports Arena, located at 25 Fair Street, Maxville. Tickets are $10 per person.

The new Highland Quilters Guild Cookbook with recipes submitted by Guild members will be for sale at the tea. The cost of the cookbook is $20.00 per copy.

The Guild has supported many local charities over the years. This year’s choice was Maxville Manor due to the facility’s redevelopment campaign, and many Guild members have been associated with the local long-term care facility in various ways.

Members of the Highland Quilters Guild live in Stormont, Dundas, Glengarry, and Prescott-Russell.
