On Thursday, October 16, 2025, Valoris wants to Prescott-Russell purple with purpose! As part of Ontario Dress Purple Day, Valoris is joining forces with our amazing community to raise awareness about every child and youth’s right to safety, well-being, and a life free from harm.
For Valoris, the day is more than just a splash of color — it is a call to action. It is about standing together to protect the rights of our children and youth, and reminding them that they are seen, supported, and never alone. It is also a celebration of a compassionate community that cares deeply for children and families across Ontario.
Join Valoris and the community on Dress Purple Day by:
• Wearing your boldest purple gear on October 16th
• Sharing your support on social media with the hashtag #IDressPurpleBecause
• Using digital tools, posters, and Facebook filters available at the Ontario Association of Children’s Aid Societies
Purple T-shirts Available
Purple T-shirts are available for purchase at the Rockland, Embrun and Hawkesbury Valoris service centres for $14 each (cash only) until October 15, 2024.
