Champlain Library is excited to welcome astrophysicist and science communicator Nathalie Nguyen-Quoc Ouellette for a special event on Wednesday, October 22 at 6 pm at the Creating Centre.
Nathalie is the Deputy Director of the Trottier Institute for Research on Exoplanets and the Mont-Mégantic Observatory at the University of Montréal. She is also Canada’s Outreach Scientist for the James Webb Space Telescope, sharing new discoveries while making astronomy engaging and accessible for all.
This event will be held in a Q&A format, giving audience members the chance to ask their own questions about astronomy.
Whether you’ve always wondered how galaxies are born, what the James Webb Space Telescope is finding, or just want to know more about our place in the universe, this is your opportunity to hear directly from an expert.
Nathalie is known for her ability to explain complex science in clear and exciting ways, making this a perfect event for both seasoned stargazers and curious beginners.
Come join us for an evening of discovery, conversation, and cosmic wonder.
Everyone is welcome, and no background knowledge is required, just bring your curiosity about the night sky!
