Le gouvernement de l’Ontario investit 3 millions de dollars pour protéger la communauté francophone de la province en créant des emplois et en stimulant la croissance économique grâce au Programme d’appui à la francophonie ontarienne (PAFO) 2025-2026. Ce financement aidera 71 organismes et entreprises à travers la province à renforcer l’impact culturel et économique des Franco-Ontariens en élargissant leur offre de services, en améliorant la formation des employés, en augmentant les activités de sensibilisation communautaire et en stimulant la création d’emplois.
A Prescott-Russell, Valoris a reçu une subvention pour 48,471$. Ce projet vise à renforcer la capacité du secteur Développement adulte de Valoris, en misant sur la formation, l’encadrement et l’intégration de stagiaires postsecondaires francophones. Il contribuera à bâtir un bassin de talents qualifiés, à améliorer la rétention du personnel et à assurer la qualité des services offerts dans le secteur résidentiel.
Chaque année, les projets du PAFO sont sélectionnés pour améliorer l’accès aux services en français dans la province, favoriser le recrutement et la formation de personnel bilingue, ainsi qu’à appuyer des initiatives culturelles et économiques porteuses.
Le Programme d’appui à la francophonie ontarienne s’inscrit dans le plan du gouvernement visant à protéger l’Ontario, en soutenant le développement économique, social et culturel des communautés francophones partout dans la province.
Valoris receives provincial grant
The Ontario government is investing $3 million to protect the province’s Francophone community by creating jobs and driving economic growth through the 2025-26 Francophone Community Grants Program (FCGP). Funding will help 71 organizations and businesses around the province strengthen the cultural and economic impact of Franco-Ontarians by expanding service offerings, improving employee training, increasing community outreach and expanding hiring.
In Prescott-Russell, Valoris has received $48,471. This project aims to strengthen the capacity of Valoris’ Adult Development sector by focusing on training, mentoring and integrating French-speaking post-secondary interns. It will help build a pool of qualified talent, improve staff retention and ensure the quality of services offered in the residential sector.
Each year, FCGP projects are selected to improve access to French-language services in the province, support the recruitment and training of bilingual staff, and promote impactful cultural and economic initiatives.
The Francophone Community Grants Program is part of the government’s plan to protect Ontario, which includes supporting the economic, social and cultural development of Francophone communities across the province.
