The Township of North Glengarry have parted ways with Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Sarah Huskinson.
Mayor Jamie MacDonald officially announced Huskinson’s departure on Friday, September 5. The decision took effect immediately.
In a meeting with Township staff, Council announced that Tim Simpson will assume the role of CAO on an interim basis while the township begins the recruitment process for a new CAO.
Simpson retired as CAO of the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry in 2022.
Huskinson had served as CAO of North Glengarry since 2018.
“We thank Ms. Huskinson for her dedication and contributions during her time with the Township,” MacDonald said in a press release
The Township of North Glengarry is providing no further comment about Huskinson’s departure from the municipality.
