Families gathered at parc Cadieux in Hawkesbury on Saturday, August 31, for the 2025 Hawkesbury Fun Day, which included a community picnic, sports and activities, and the opportunity to explore community partner organizations.

The event featured numerous activities for children, including an inflatable bull ride, a foam pit, hockey and basketball games, races, and soccer.

Additionally, organizations such as the local library, Le Club d’athlétisme Les Roadrunners, and l’Association canadienne-française de l’Ontario de Prescott et Russell were on site to share program offerings and information with attendees.

Balloon animals and face painting were family favourites, while a free hotdog lunch was served by Hawkesbury staff.
