A rural Hamlet proved it has a main street and strong sense of community on Saturday, August 23.
Meet me on Main Street in Dalkeith was the fourth and final such event organized by the Township of North Glengarry this summer. The Dalkeith event was hosted by the Dalkeith…Plus Library. Food and craft vendors were set up on the grounds while a variety of good, Glengarry talent performed, including Jamie Denovan, Ian MacLeod, Fridge Full of Empties, and the Quigley Highlanders Pipes and Drums.
The Dalkeith Historical Society building was also open to visitors with exhibits and vendors.
Previous North Glengarry Meet Me on Main Street events were held in Alexandria, Maxville, and Dunvegan.
