A popular café in Chute-à-Blondeau has been given special recognition by the Government of Ontario.

On Thursday, August 21, Associate Minister of Women’s Social and Economic Opportunity Charmaine Williams visited CàB Café with MPP Stéphane Sarrazin and presented owner Elisabeth Arbaud with a Certificate of Appreciation on behalf of the Province of Ontario recognizing the café’s contribution to economic growth, advancing women’s business, and strengthening the fabric of Ontario through leadership and excellence in entrepreneurship.

“This recognition means so much to me, but it is not mine alone. I share it wholeheartedly with my amazing team—because without their dedication, kindness, and hard work, CàB Café would not be where it is today. Together, we’ve built not just a café, but a place where community, laughter, and warmth are shared every day,” Arbaud said.

CàB Café opened in March 2024 and has quickly become a popular destination for area residents and tourists in Chute-à-Blondeau.
