The Champlain Library’s “Around the World” Summer Reading Club is in full swing! We are wrapping up our time in Europe with a special visit from Ines and Eric of My Nordic Garden on Thursday, July 31, from 2 pm to 3 pm, where they will share the surprising history and many uses of the dandelion, a plant that’s often overlooked but full of hidden wonders.

Next week, we will be in South America! On Tuesday, we will start with an outside edition of our popular Storytime at Mill Street Park before exploring the mysterious Nazca Lines later that afternoon. Wednesday we will make Carnival Masks, and on Thursday, we will head outdoors again to create vibrant rainforest scenes with sidewalk chalk.

All activities are free for library cardholders and library cards are free for residents of Champlain and East Hawkesbury. Space is limited, so do not forget to save your spot.
