A Lachute man could face charges after the Sûreté du Québec arrested him for allegedly selling alcoholic beverages without a permit.
On Wednesday, July 2, police officers conducted a search of a business. Police seized more than 10 litres of spirits, more than 210 litres of beer, and two litres of wine.
41-year-old man could face charges of selling alcoholic beverages without a permit, for possessing alcoholic beverages with intent to sell on his business premises, where no permit is in force.
The Sûreté du Québec reminds that any information on contraband alcohol, cannabis, and tobacco can be reported confidentially at any time to the Criminal Information Centre at 1-800-659-4264.
