Alexandria celebrated Canada Day in a big way on Tuesday, July 1. A huge parade made its way from the north end to the south end of town, followed by festivities at Island Park which ended with fireworks late in the evening.
The Alexandria Lions Club presents the Canada Day events in cooperation with the Township of North Glengarry.
The parade included an impressive range of floats, classic automobiles, bands, horses, and participants on foot from local businesses, clubs, organizations, and public agencies.
