The Prescott and Russell Development Corporation has appointed Nicolas Malboeuf as the new Regional Director of Economic Development and Tourism, effective June 18, 2025.

With a strong background in community development, business development, and community engagement, Malboeuf brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in both public and private sectors. In his new role, he will oversee and coordinate strategic initiatives aimed at driving sustainable economic growth, attracting investment, and promoting the Prescott and Russell region as a vibrant destination for tourism and business.

Malboeuf previously served as a regional development officer, where he led several community economic development initiatives as well as founder and owner of the local brewery Tuque de Broue.
