Happiness, laughter, memories: all the things that will make an amazing Small Business Fair night. This year’s young entrepreneurs from Pleasant Corners Public School are making inspirational small businesses full of creativity and surprise. Come and enjoy this exciting night on Thursday, June 19 for a really good time. And, be sure to bring an appetite because there will be plenty of yummy, sweet treats and drinks!
The countdown to the business fair is on and Mrs. Anderson’s Grade 5/6/7 students are really stepping up their game. As junior business owners – from Hot Chocolate Pop – Up Shops in December, these students/CEO’s have gained amazing experience that will make this year’s business fair the best one yet. These Kidpreneurs (junior entrepreneurs) are working really hard in class designing posters, banners, websites, flyers and logos for their themed booths this year. At this year’s business fair there will be loads of snacks and drinks to buy. These include fluffy cotton candy, frosty ice cream, fruity smoothies, cheesy nachos and so much more! Along with all these tasty treats, there will also be a complimentary end of year BBQ, so make sure to save room for hot dogs!
There’s also more than just food, after all your treats why not enjoy some other activities like face painting, balloon animals or an inflatable basketball game. All of this and more will be in the Pleasant Corners Learning Commons from 5 pm to 7 pm. In addition to the eating and shopping, enjoy the Musical Showcase happening in the gymnasium until 8 pm.
We will be donating all the funds from the business fair to UCDSB’s Champions for Kids. This foundation supports students and their families and provides activities like sports and music.
This business fair will be an amazing evening! We invite the community to stop by and have fun. We hope to see you there. Thank you for your support!
