Sûreté du Québec officers have arrested a man following a vehicle theft in Montebello.
Late in the morning of Saturday, May 31, police officers located a vehicle with a single occupant in the rue Notre-Dame area of Montebello. Following routine checks, officers determined that the driver was not the owner of the vehicle. Further checks were conducted, and it was determined that the vehicle had been reported stolen. The man in his twenties, originally from Montebello, could face charges including receiving stolen goods.
The suspect was held in custody pending a court appearance.
