Students at Pleasant Corners Public School (PCPS) near Vankleek Hill are preparing for the school’s annual Business Fair. Each year, groups of students form small businesses as part of their class work and sell items at the event to raise money for various charities. To learn about marketing, the students in Jennifer Anderson’s class have been learning about newspapers and how to write an article to promote an event or business. The students also really enjoyed receiving print copies of The Review and reading them. This is not only a great way to learn about marketing and writing, but also for learning about the people and issues in the community!
