The 6th Annual Washer Tournament for the Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation was held on Saturday, April 5, at the Dome in Alexandria. The event raised approximately $2,350, with 28 teams participating.
“The enthusiasm and support we received from the community were incredible,” said Frédérique Théorêt, Executive Director of the Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation. “The funds raised will go directly toward enhancing healthcare services at Glengarry Memorial Hospital, and we’re grateful for everyone who came out to support the cause.”
Partners that made the washer tournament possible include the Township of North Glengarry, B&B Food Market, Tim Hortons, and Pommier Jewellers.
The Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation looks forward to hosting next year’s tournament and continuing to engage the community in making a positive impact on local healthcare.
