The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking for the public’s help following a firearm-related incident that began in Casselman and ended in Ottawa.
On Friday, April 4, shortly after 8 a.m., Ottawa OPP received a report of a vehicle that had been struck by a projectile, possibly a BB gun pellet. The victim reported they were being followed by a grey sedan from the Casselman area until they exited Highway 417 at Nicholas Street in Ottawa. The victim reported that the suspect vehicle had been behaving in a strange manner, by not allowing her to switch lanes and matching her speed. The vehicle was described as grey with dark-tinted windows.
Police are asking for assistance from the public. The incident began at approximately 6:55 a.m. in Casselman. It ended at 7:28 a.m. at Nicholas Street in Ottawa.
