The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit has charged an individual after two stolen vehicles were recovered in Limoges.
An investigation resulted in a search warrant being executed on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at a location on Limoges Road.
Street Crime officers and members of the Russell County Detachment recovered a backhoe, reported stolen from South Dundas Township, and a Mercedes which had been reported stolen in Ajax. The combined value of the vehicles is nearly $100,000.
Samuel Kyakuwa, age 50 of Ottawa, has been charged with two counts of possession of property obtained by crime-over $5000.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal on April 30, 2025.
