Many gardeners are already starting plants inside in preparation for spring planting time. Others will wait and plant the seeds right in the ground once the warmer weather arrives and the snow is all gone. On Saturday, March 15, gardeners met at The Creating Centre in Vankleek Hill for the third annual Seed Swap. Gardeners had the opportunity to swap seeds for various plants, and to learn from organizations such as Eco East and the Vankleek Hill and District Horticultural Society about how to properly prepare and plant this spring.
