The Nation Municipality is holding meetings in three communities to discuss possible changes to the ownership and operation of local community centres.
The municipality is considering transferring the property, management, and operations of the community centres in St-Bernardin, Fournier, and St-Albert to volunteer committees.
A meeting was already held in St-Albert about the future of the community centre there. On Tuesday, February 25, a meeting was held at the Caledonia Community Centre near St-Bernardin about the future of that facility. A meeting about the Fournier Community Centre and its future will take place at the centre on March 4 at 7 pm.
