After a slow start to winter, there has finally been enough snow recently for good conditions on cross-country ski trails in the area. On Sunday, February 23, skiers were enjoying the trails at Voyageur Provincial Park near Chute-a-Blondeau. Other popular cross-country ski trails in the area include the Ski Vent-clic trail around Vankleek Hill, Larose Forest near Bourget, and Parc Nature Lac Beattie in Gore.
