Russell County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a reported home invasion robbery in the village of Russell.

Officers responded to the residence on Duncanville Street just before 9:30 pm on Tuesday, February 11. The resident reported that three unidentified individuals had entered his home and tied him up. The male was able to free himself and flee to a neighbouring residence.

The suspects had fled the area by the time police arrived.

The investigation is ongoing. Police believe this was a targeted incident and that there is no threat to public safety.
